The structure of the calender is related to the number and arrangement of the rollers. No matter how the structure of the calender changes, the main components are still the same. The calender consists of five systems.
1. Roller heating system
The heating system of the calender is almost the same as that of the open mill. There are three common heating methods, oil heating, electric heating and steam circulation heating. The function of the heating system is to control the temperature of the roller within a certain range to ensure the smooth progress of the rubber calendering process.
2. Calendering system
The calendering system of the calender is composed of rollers, roller bearings, racks and other components. The rubber calendering process requires the rotation of the rollers to complete.

3. Lubrication system
The lubricating system of the calender includes gear pump, oil pipeline, cooling circulating water pipeline, lubricating oil filter screen and temperature display to ensure the circulation of the lubricating oil system of the roller bearing. Circulating oil is lubricated, and the lubricating system is designed with a lubricating oil cooling device to control the temperature rise of the lubricating oil and ensure good lubrication.
4. Electrical control system
The main function is to control the start and stop of the motor, adjust the speed of the rollers of the calender, and adjust the roller distance.
5. Transmission system
The drive of the calender is composed of a motor, a coupling, a gear reducer, and a universal coupling. The rollers on the calender are driven by DC motors respectively. The same speed is different, and the calendering ratio is adjusted according to the product process conditions to complete the calendering process.
